Archeology

Photography, design and communication applied to archeology

Studying archeology is the guiding thread for my photographic project Archeology of the Sacred .

Archeology is therefore my second academic background (History of Art and Archeology in Paris, Sorbonne, 2014-2018).

In 2015, I joined the French commission of the II Archaeological Day of the Hermes Institute, when we went to Spain to participate in the excavation campaign for the archaeological site in Castulo , Spain. Still in France, in 2017, I participated in an excavation campaign at Diodurum / Ferme d'Ithe , a site made up of the Gallo-Roman agglomeration of Diodurum ("City of God") and a Cistercian farm in the Yvelines region.

In Paris, I worked in the areas of graphic design and photography at the Muséum nationale d'Histoire Naturelle (MNHN).

In Brazil, I carry out works in the area of communication applied to the dissemination of archaeological heritage in the central region of Brazil. Between them:

- Photographic reporting of archaeological sites, lithic collections (IGPA) and museum pieces in the region of Goiás;

- Design of panels for exhibition at the Planalto Central Historical and Archaeological Museum;

- Co-administrator of the page of the Historical and Archaeological Museum of Planalto Central ;

- Administrator of the Archeology group of Planalto Central - Brazil .

Since 2016, I have also organized archaeological excursions to rock art sites in the region of Vale do Paranã: Lajedo do Bisnau and Toca da Onça.

In 2018, I taught Epistemology of Archeology classes at the Nova Acrópole school of philosophy, in Brasilia.

Currently, I am pursuing a Masters in Prehistoric Archeology and Rock Art by the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (IPT), Portugal. My thesis investigates the relationship between photography applied to rock art in Galicia, Spain.
